July 20: Yes still in pajamas, but Patriot wanted to come outside right away and ride his new skateboard with his batman helmet and knee and elbow pads that mom and dad bought for him for his birthday. (Libby thinks it is pretty cool too!)
July 19: Here is the birthday boy!! Patriot turned 3 years old today, and we celebrated with three of his nursery friends. They had a blast with balloons, dinosaurs, and jumping around in Patriot's blow up castle! It was kind of a skateboard theme because that is what we got for him.
July 19: Patriot has the 'daddy' dinosaur, and Luke has the 'boy' dinosaur. So neat to see them all play together!
July 19: Ok, I am pretty happy with the way the cake turned out. It took me forever to find a little tiny skateboard, but I lucked out and just stumbled across some skateboard plates at the dollar store. I didn't buy candles, and the only ones my mom had were these rather large hannakuh candles, but she had brown ones and Patriot had toy trees (and a toy cactus) that come apart and the tops fit perfectly!
July 19: Liberty did play with the boys, but she enjoyed the food more than anything!
July 19: And the crowning moment of any birthday party... Let's eat cake! Patriot needed just a little help blowing out the candles, but he did awesome. from left to right we have: Landon Shivers, Liberty, Patriot, Dayton Lamb, and Luke Draper. The whole party was just fun and turned out really well.
July 12: This is actually a shovel, I don't know if you will be able to get an idea of how cool it is though. Patriot is holding the handles that cause the shovel to pull in and up to fill it up with dirt and then down and out to pour the sand out! He is a little small to do it real effeciently but he sort of got it to work. This is at the Espee Spray park, they have pavillions and toys like a reg. park, but they also have a huge rubber mat with several drains in the middle, and big water spraying toys all around. It is way cool. Posted by Picasa
July 12: Patriot Had a blast at the spray park, he is sitting directly on top of one of those fountains! There are all sorts of other things that spray, like huge shower heads, a play fire hydrant, and a tunnel of like five huge hoops that spray water too. It is a great way to cool down in our 120 degree weather! Posted by Picasa
July 12: Little Libby at our local spray park. She was not quite as confident as Patriot when it came to running and playing in the water, but she still loves going there! Posted by Picasa
July 6: Liberty Ann with the Komarek's new dog Smalls. My kids both just loved playing with the puppy and he was so sweet. We look forward to getting one of our own when daddy gets home! Posted by Picasa
July 7: After a rough day of having fun the kids all jumped in the hot tub to relax. Right. It's just a little pool to them, and they had a blast. Posted by Picasa
July 7: Twelve of Tom and Marsha's 13 grandchildren, just missing little Max. (He lives in Maine!) Oldest to youngest right to left top to bottom: Taylor, Dayton, Brandon, Wesley, Sara, Lexi, Emma, Patriot, Walker, (next would be Max) and the little ones in front are a little out of order, but Laura Ann is the oldest, then our Libby and then little Lilly. The RT Atkin family reunion was in Filmore Utah, at the Komarek's new home.  Posted by Picasa
July 5: My brother Tyler, his wife Kim, and kids Walker, and Lily. We were celebrating Lilly's first birthday at Red Robin! Posted by Picasa
July 4: Tom and Marsha family. At least all of us that were there to represent at the Carter Reunion. Posted by Picasa
July 4: The Carter cousins. We were pretty close growing up so it was neat to see everyone again and meet all of their kids! Posted by Picasa
July 4:Ned and Melba Carter family Reunion. My mom with her mom and four siblings. Left to Right; Ned J., Debbie, Marsha, Melba, Susie, and Mike. Posted by Picasa
July 3: E. Thomas Atkin family reunion. 4 out of my dad's seven brothers were there and we had lots of fun with cousins and second cousins. From right to left, my sister Jessica Komarek with her baby Laura Ann in lap, my sister Emily, and my baby sister Saydie with her husband Chris Steffensen. Posted by Picasa
June 30: Cute cousins getting ready for bed, sort of . Posted by Picasa
June 30: Komereks house, (Addie's sister Jessica) was our first real stop on our trip. Patriot and Liberty LOVED playing with all 5 of their cousins there. Little Laura Ann in the back of the pic, is just 2 months older than Libby and cousin Emma is nearly 5. They all played kitchen for at least an hour. Posted by Picasa
June 30: On our way to Utah for family reunions! We stopped about 3 times for a half an hour each time so the trip went really smooth. this fountain is in Kanab, and Patriot and Mom climed all the way to the top! (several times) It was in a great place, right across the street from a gas station with a wendy's in it. we stopped on the way up, and on our way home too! Posted by Picasa
June 29: Last day of swim lessons, and Patriot did awesome. This is his teacher Whitney. Patriot loved to show off for her! Posted by Picasa
June 25: I know this is out of order, but I forgot about this pic, it was on my mom's camera. This is our church, for some reason Patriot looked at this rock and said "Mom, let's take a picture." Grandma had her camera so we did!  Posted by Picasa

June 28: Beautiful Liberty. She found this hat at the dollar store and she wears it all the time. I wasn't even going to buy it for her, but she REALLY wanted it. I am glad we got it though, she loves it! Posted by Picasa
